Paralegal at Kaplan Morrell
Since 2000 I have learned a great deal about the Colorado Workers’ Compensation system and Social Security. I enjoy doing my job because I am able to help others. I enjoy working in our small firm; it allows me to work and get to know our clients on a more personal level. Several clients have told me that after speaking with me they are calmer and have a little more understanding of the workers’ comp system. My personal demeanor helps me greatly; I am a calm and patient person. Being patient has helped me when listening to client concerns and coming up with solutions to help. I help clients from the beginning to end of their claim. In regards to Workers’ Compensation I help clients with medical problems and concerns. I assist the attorneys with preparing discovery and preparing for hearing. In regards to Social Security, I help people with the appeals process and prepare their file for hearing.
