Teresa Vazquez is a Client Accounts Assistant at Kaplan Morrell, where she ensures that clients receive their payments promptly and that all case-related expenses are paid on time. From verifying that admitted benefits have been issued to completing final accounting after settlement, Teresa plays a vital role in keeping clients informed and financially supported throughout their workers’ compensation cases. Her attention to detail and commitment to timeliness help make a stressful process a little more manageable for the people we serve.
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Teresa spent her childhood between Las Vegas and Mexico. At age 14, her family relocated from Morelia, Michoacán, to Virginia, where she completed high school and met her husband, Ovidio. In 2014, the couple moved to Colorado, where they now raise their three children. Teresa began working at Kaplan Morrell in 2019 and takes great pride in her role, knowing that for many clients, timely payments are critical for maintaining stability in the face of a work injury.
Outside of the office, Teresa enjoys crocheting, bike riding, and reading. She’s known on the team for her positive energy, contagious humor, and ability to keep things light, even on the busiest days. Whether cracking jokes or sneaking in a “Team Edward!” reference, Teresa brings warmth and joy to every interaction with clients and coworkers alike.
