Carlos Arturo Zuniga Arroyo joined the Kaplan Morrell team in 2026, bringing a comprehensive legal perspective and a strong dedication to supporting our community in Criminal Defense and Immigration matters. An attorney who graduated from the University of Guanajuato and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law, Carlos Arturo has a solid and diverse academic background. He began his professional career in the private sector, working within the legal department of a company with operations across Mexico, where he developed his skills in corporate litigation management. Later, he gained valuable experience in the public sector, working within the General Directorate of the Civil Registry.
Before joining Kaplan Morrell, Carlos Arturo played a pivotal role in the legal department of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guanajuato. There, for the majority of his tenure, he worked closely as the personal assistant to the Legal Director, managing complex, high-impact legal processes under pressure. This experience in “the trenches” of the criminal justice system in Mexico grants him a unique understanding and natural authority to approach criminal defense cases.
In his current role, Carlos Arturo uses his technical knowledge and empathy to assist our attorneys and guide clients through the challenges of the legal system, ensuring clear representation and a dignified defense for every individual, especially within our Spanish-speaking community.
