Deidra Deery is a Senior Paralegal at Kaplan Morrell who assists injured workers throughout every stage of their claims. She communicates regularly with clients, adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel to ensure all necessary medical treatments and benefits are authorized and paid promptly. Deidra’s thoroughness and dedication help keep claims moving smoothly from start to finish.
Her favorite part of the job is supporting injured workers during what can be one of the toughest times in their lives. She genuinely cares for each client and takes pride in helping them navigate these difficult moments. Deidra values her close working relationships with every team member and is proud to be part of Colorado’s leading workers’ compensation firm.
Deidra earned her Paralegal Certificate in 2010 and has worked in various areas of law, but has specialized exclusively in workers’ compensation since 2014, finding her true professional niche. Outside of work, she enjoys paddle boarding, camping, hiking, and soaking up the sunshine. She also loves gardening and growing a sunflower garden each summer. Deidra has been married for ten years and is a proud mother of two daughters. Her coworkers affectionately call her “the client whisperer” because of her deep commitment to being caring and supportive to every client.
