Meet Regina, Legal Assistant
Regina Carlin is a dedicated Legal Assistant at Kaplan Morrell, where she plays a key role in supporting injured workers through the complex workers’ compensation process. She is responsible for calculating Average Weekly Wage (AWW) and monitoring treatment-related issues to ensure medical recommendations are approved in a timely manner. Regina thrives on achieving these “small wins” throughout what can often be a long and uncertain journey for clients. Whether it’s increasing a client’s AWW or getting critical treatment authorized, she’s proud to be part of the team that stands behind each individual from start to finish.
Originally from Celaya, a small town in Mexico, Regina studied political science and brings a thoughtful, analytical perspective to her work. She has a deep understanding of what clients may be feeling as they navigate a confusing system, especially because she learned the ins and outs of the workers’ compensation world from scratch. This personal experience allows her to empathize with those who are overwhelmed or unsure, and she works hard to simplify the process, helping clients feel informed, confident, and supported.
Outside the office, Regina is a creative spirit who enjoys painting, photography, cooking, and traveling. She’s also a movie lover who appreciates the power of storytelling—something she channels in her work by listening to each client’s unique story and needs. Regina is proud to bring patience, empathy, and determination to the Kaplan Morrell team, helping ensure that no one feels alone in their journey toward healing.
