ACE Scholarships 

Their mission is to provide children of low-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12, and to advocate for expanded school choice.

All Hands and Hearts – Smart Response 

All Hands and Hearts effectively and efficiently address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. We communicate directly with local leaders and community members and then deploy our unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes, and infrastructure.

American Immigration Council 

Honoring our Immigrant Past, Shaping our Immigrant Future. The American Immigration Council works to strengthen America by shaping how America thinks about and acts towards immigrants and immigration and by working toward a more fair and just immigration system that opens its doors to those in need of protection and unleashes the energy and skills that immigrants bring.

American Inns of Court

The American Inns of Court inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education and mentoring.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.​

American Red Cross of Colorado 

Even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, hospital patients still need lifesaving blood; neighbors still need food, shelter and care after disasters of all sizes; military families still need support; people still need to know how to perform critical skills like first aid and CPR; and vulnerable communities worldwide still need humanitarian assistance that the Red Cross provides.

Americares is a health-focused relief and development organization that saves lives and improves health for people affected by poverty or disaster. Since it was established in 1979, Americares has distributed more than $18 billion in humanitarian aid to 164 countries.

Bicycle Colorado

Their mission is to lead a passionate and growing movement that champions the interests of everyone who rides or wants to ride a bicycle in our state.

Big Bones Canine Rescue

Their Mission is to save dogs from death, illness, and misfortune regardless of their size, age, breed, or health status.

It was thanks to Big Bones Canine Rescue that we are able to welcome ROCKY to the Kaplan Morrell team! We are so excited for you to meet him! Rocky was rescued right before the pandemic when he lost his family and home to the tornadoes in Oklahoma. After a long journey, he was rescued by Big Bones Canine Rescue and brought to Colorado for adoption.

The Bill of Rights Institute

The Bill of Rights Institute engages, educates, and empowers individuals with a passion for the freedom and opportunity that exist in a free society.

Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver changes lives. From the first day of kindergarten to high school graduation, we help kids succeed in school, develop good character and citizenship, and live healthy lives. At 20 neighborhood Clubs and our summer camp in the mountains, we provide our Club members with low or no-cost opportunities to participate in fun and educationally enriching activities after school, during the school day, and all summer long.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County

Their mission is “To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.”

Bridge House

Bridge House believes in, respects, and empowers people who are experiencing homelessness. We connect them to housing and employment opportunities so they can realize and embrace their future.

Their mission is to help families give kids a bright beginning so they can grow into healthy, happy and successful adults.

Catholic Charities Guadalupe Community Center

Catholic Charities of Denver shelters, feeds, houses, educates, counsels, and provides emergency assistance and critical services to our neighbors across Northern Colorado. They serve thousands of neighbors each year with life-changing support as they work to improve their lives.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation 

Their mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation

Kaplan Morrell is thrilled to be able to donate $250.00 to Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation supporting an attorney who will be riding his bike for Children’s Hospital Courage Classic Bike Ride. He along with other intrepid riders will ride up and over 5 mountain passes in Summit and Vail counties raising much-needed funds for Children’s Hospital.

Colorado Foundation for Agriculture 

Their mission: Connect educators and students to their food, fiber, fuel, and natural resources.

Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation 

Colorado “I Have a Dream” Foundation provides long-term support to children and youth living in under-resourced communities to achieve their full potential, by promoting from an early age, values of higher education, and career success, with opportunity guaranteed through financial resources, and other services.

Colorado Police Officers Foundation

The Colorado Police Officers Foundation’s overall purpose is to generate funds to promote a greater understanding and awareness by the public on issues affecting the law enforcement profession. The primary focus of the Police Officers Foundation is to foster community-wide support for law enforcement by providing supplemental resources for traumatically injured officers and their families, giving needed financial assistance to survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, and building meaningful and positive officer-community partnerships. 

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response.

Denver Rescue Mission 

Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or the ability to pay.

Direct Relief – Specifically to Australia Fires

Direct Relief is working with Qantas Airlines to ship 500,000 N95 masks to partners in eastern Australia working to protect communities from the impact of wildfire smoke, including the Australian Red Cross and the Department of Health and Human Services of Victoria.

Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) 

MSF is an international medical humanitarian organization working in nearly 70 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.

Energy Outreach Colorado

Energy Outreach Colorado leads a network of industry, state, and local partners to Support, Stabilize, and Sustain Coloradans to afford their energy needs.

Freedom Service Dogs>

At Freedom Service Dogs, we unleash the potential of dogs by transforming them into custom-trained, life-changing assistance dogs for people in need. The clients we serve include children, veterans and active-duty military, and other adults.

Friends of the Earth US 

Friends of the Earth fight to defend the environment and create a more healthy and just world.

Gary Sinise Foundation

Their mission is to serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. They do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.

Good360’s mission is to transform lives by providing hope, dignity, and a sense of renewed possibility to individuals, families, and communities impacted by disasters or other challenging life circumstances who, without us, would struggle to find that hope.​

Greeley Family House 

Its mission is to provide temporary housing and support services for families experiencing housing instability.

Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra

The Kentucky Derby Gala is an annual event in Greeley to benefit the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra.

Greeley Transitional House

Its mission is to provide temporary housing and support services for families experiencing housing instability.

Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity

Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our mission is to work in partnership with community partners and families in need to build decent affordable homes.

Habitat Denver

Habitat for Humanity is a homeownership program that builds and sells homes in partnership with low-income families. Our mission: Bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Healing Waters International 

We’re on a mission to end the global water crisis. The Healing Waters Ministry builds holistic clean water solutions and spreads God’s love in at-risk communities around the world, empowering people not just to survive, but to thrive – physically, socially, and spiritually.

Human Rights Foundation (HRF)>

HRF unites people in the common cause of defending human rights and promoting liberal democracy. Our mission is to ensure that freedom is both preserved and promoted around the world.

Humane Society of Weld County 

Their mission is the promotion of the humane treatment of animals through care, advocacy, and education.

Illuminate Colorado

Illuminate Colorado is a statewide 501(c)(3) dedicated to preventing child maltreatment and building brighter childhoods through education, advocacy, and family support. As such, Illuminate Colorado leads the state chapter of Circle of Parents in Colorado, which provides a safe, supportive, confidential, non-judgmental environment where parents can openly discuss their successes and challenges with the support of community agencies. JAMLAC

In 2006, JAMLAC began the mission of providing free legal services to those who struggle with poverty, oppression, and daily hardships. They especially focus on serving low-income victims of crime and domestic violence.

Make-A-Wish Colorado

Make a Wish mission is, together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Since being founded in 1983, the chapter has granted more than 5,000 wishes to eligible Colorado children.

Maria Droste Counseling Center

The Maria Droste Counseling Center has been formed out of the understanding that people need access to counseling regardless of their ability to pay.

They are committed to serving others with enthusiasm, empathy and humility as we assist in creating a place of peace, love and harmony within others, ourselves and our community. They embrace and honor diversity in all its forms.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation 

The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.

The Matthews House

The Matthews House empowers youth and families by building trusting relationships and providing resources to disrupt the cycles of poverty and abuse.

Mental Health Colorado

Mental Health Colorado is the state’s leading advocate for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

Mental Health Colorado fulfills its mission through education, advocacy, and outreach and envisions a state where everyone lives life to its fullest potential. Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are at the heart of our work.

Mercy Corps 

Its mission is to alleviate suffering, poverty, and oppression by helping people build secure, productive, and just communities.

Miracle League of Metro Denver 

The Miracle League of Metro Denver is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in metro Denver that provides children and adults, who are living with various mental and/or physical challenges, an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)

NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

National Constitution Center

The National Constitution Center serves as America’s leading platform for constitutional education and debate, fulfilling our congressional charter “to disseminate information about the United States Constitution on a nonpartisan basis in order to increase awareness and understanding of the Constitution among the American people.”

National Mill Dog Rescue 

Kaplan Morrell gave a $250 donation to National Mill Dog Rescue in memory of our smallest team member whose passing this month left the biggest hole in our team environment. Oliver greeted us and our clients every day and made our office a warm and friendly place to serve our clients. 

National Park Foundation

The National Park Foundation NPS’s mission is to “conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and wildlife therein, and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.”

Prison Fellowship

Their mission is to restore those affected by crime and incarceration. They help men and women replace the cycle of brokenness that landed them in prison.

Angel Tree® is a program of Prison Fellowship that serves incarcerated parents by providing a pathway for strengthening and restoring their relationships with their children and families.

Project C.U.R.E. 

In this time of crisis, Project C.U.R.E. is making its resources available to the hospitals and first responders in our C.U.R.E. Communities of Denver, Nashville, Phoenix, Houston, Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Chicago. They are donating all of their masks, gloves, PPE’s and other items needed to fight the COVID19 to these heroes. Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)

The mission of RMHC is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children.

Rotary International

Their mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through their fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Royal Family KIDS 

Their mission is to create positive, life-changing moments for innocent children who have been victims of neglect, abuse, and abandonment.

The Salvation Army of Greeley

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Semper Fi & America’s Fund

Semper Fi & America’s Fund provides urgently needed resources and lifetime support for combat wounded, critically ill, and catastrophically injured Service Members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

ShelterBox USA 

Their mission is to deliver humanitarian relief worldwide in the form of equipment and materials that bring shelter to people displaced by natural disasters and conflict.

Step Denver 

Step Denver is a men’s residential recovery community that helps low-income men overcome the consequences of addiction and rebuild their lives through sobriety, work and accountability.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

Towards Justice

Towards Justice is a nonprofit law firm that seeks to advance economic justice through impact litigation, strategic policy advocacy, and capacity building. We were founded in response to the high volume of wage theft complaints that were not being addressed in Colorado but quickly broadened our scope to take on cases that dismantle the power imbalances that undermine the value of work and diminish worker rights.

U COUNT

U COUNT fights global and local sex trafficking through prevention, awareness, and rescue. They fight trafficking on three fronts: Global projects, local efforts and marketplace.

Water.org’s solutions focus on empowerment through access to affordable financing. For millions around the world, access to funds is the only thing that stands between them and safe water and sanitation in their homes. Their solutions focus on breaking down this financial barrier and bringing hope and opportunity to those in need.

Its mission is to lead and engage our community in the fight against hunger.

Weld Women2Women

Women 2 Women (now Weld Women 2Women) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide one-time monetary assistance to women living in Weld County, Colorado who are burdened with unexpected and immediate financial needs that cannot and have not been met by other community resources.

The mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.

World Wildlife Fund

The World Wildlife Fund’s mission is to conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth.

Zapatos Sin Fronteras 

Shoes without Borders’ mission is to inspire and give hope to others, to feed the soul, spirit and body, to become producers not just consumers, to give, give and give.

Shoes Without Borders was founded from the desire to give kids a little self-confidence and hope with the help of a new pair of shoes. We have seen people live in such poverty that we thought we had to do something.
