How We’re Working Hard and Safe for You During COVID-19 – Our firm is working hard to keep our team as well as current and prospective clients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 15, 2020, we have sent about 80% of our team home where they have been working exclusively. We do, however, have a few team members who physically come into the office to process mail, etc.
We Try to Keep Interaction Contactless – Safe and Secure during COVID-19
On rare occasions, clients drop off items because they are unable to email or mail them to us. Kaplan Morrell accommodates those situations so that our clients can do that. However, we do try to keep those situations contactless by having the client slide us stuff under the door, or we have the door in between us, etc.
How Are We Currently Meeting with Clients?
There are some cases where we have clients who just simply cannot meet with us by video, and telephone will not work. In those situations, we have had clients come to our office. What we do is we have the client in a chair and the attorney is in a chair so that a far and safe distance is between them. We wear our masks and gloves, and we have our conversation that way.
Kaplan Morrell Can Meet with You Via Several Different Applications during COVID-19
Much of the time we are meeting our clients through video meetings. This means that we can meet with you on a variety of different apps. What is really exciting for us is that we have been meeting with clients via internet video since 2006. We have used FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp, Facebook video, Google Hangouts, Google Duo, and Zoom. Of course, we were on Zoom well before anybody else was on it.
Our Office is Where You Are
If you have a phone in your back pocket, then you are going to be able to contact us, see documents, meet with us, chat with us, ask questions, and get the lawyer advice you need.
Precautions We Will Take Once We Reopen
Like most of Colorado, we are looking at how we are going to reopen and have clients come into our office. Of course, we have our face masks, gloves for shaking hands and taking papers, and Lysol.
